To promote the research excellence necessary to maintain our pride of place as the principal research entity in the region, every year the UWI recognizes and rewards its researchers for their outstanding work. This year, for the first time, we have chronicled all the research projects which received awards at the 2009 Research Awards Ceremony. It is an impresive collection of the research output of the best intelletual minds and experts in the region.
